Bryson DeChambeau heads into the second round of the Masters with the lead.
DeChambeau birdied through his opening round Thursday to score a bogey-free 65 in what was his best Masters round ever. This gave him a one-shot lead over Scottie Scheffler and the rest of the field.
Thanks to a severe storm that passed through the area, play was delayed slightly Thursday morning — which in turn led to the opening round being called early due to darkness Thursday night. Among those still on the course is Tiger Woods, who finished the day at 1-under through 13 holes.
The first round will resume on Friday morning at 7:50 a.m. ET, and the second round will begin just 10 minutes from the first tee. That will make for a long day for Woods, who has 23 holes to go on Friday to see if he can make the cut and make it to the weekend — which would give him a record 24th straight at Augusta National.

Max Homa is there this morning, dropping 17 inches from the cup. That birdie would move him to under 6, just one shot off the lead.

Meanwhile, Max Homa drained his shot to put him at -5. He's just two people behind DeChambeau.

Jason Day, who was wearing an interesting jacket this morning, submerged it in water when he was 16 years old. That led to a double bogey and he is now at +2.

After a poor third shot on the 15th, Tiger Woods was able to get up and down to save par. He is currently even on his round with three holes to play.

The second round is underway… and the tiger's ghost
Lee Hodges starts the second round, which actually starts on time.
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods suffered a stroke at 14 after his approach failed. Seems to be working a little this morning.

The first round is being resumed
The first round is back, and it begins with Tiger Woods cutting his drive down the middle of the fairway at No. 14.
The 27 players who couldn't finish yesterday were given a break. As the sun set on Thursday, playing conditions became difficult with winds blowing. That wind is mostly gone this morning, and conditions are much better for those finishing their ride today than they were yesterday.
The question now is, can they capitalize and replace Bryson DeChambeau, who leads the club by 7-under.
Of those still in the rotation, Nicolai Hougaard (-5) and Max Homa (-4) are the closest to DeChambeau.
